A Great Use for Apple Cider Vinegar

Are you getting tired of winter? Or (like mine) are your FEET getting tired of winter? I never want to go and get a pedicure during the winter months, since my flip flops are in storage and I'm always wearing boots or closed-toed shoes. It seems pointless to pay almost $40 for a pedicure just to have my toes always covered!

A great foot soak for winter involves just two simple ingredients: hot water and vinegar. Add 1 cup of vinegar to about 2 gallons of hot water and soak your feet. This is great for feet that are tired, athlete's foot, and feet that need softening! You can also add a couple of drops of essential oil to cover up the strong smell of vinegar (although the strong smell won't stick around for too long!)

Soak for about 20 minutes and take this time to relax!

Pretty Preppy Fall Outfit

I am LOVING the change of weather and seasons that is going on. Fall is my all-time favorite season of the year and there is NOTHING about Fall that I don't like! I love the change in clothing, activities, and colors. With Fall comes putting away flip flops and shorts and taking out leggings, boots, and sweaters. It's also time to bring out the crock pot and put away the grill in the garage until Spring.

I feel like Western boots are making a huge mark in the fashion happenings of Fall 2012. I have a couple of pairs of Western boots and I love them! I was thinking the other day...what if you aren't into that look? So many fashion websites and magazines are showing the Western look. What if that's not your style? I found this pretty preppy Fall look and thought I would share! Pair a blazer with a warm scarf. To keep your hair out of the way, a high bun is easy to do in your hair and looks very chic.

The Perfect Cowgirl Boots

The Western look is still trending big time. It's no wonder, too! I watched the CMT channel on TV the other morning while I was "putzing" around the house. Holy cow those country boys are super super good looking. I think those cute men could make even the biggest city girl want to throw on a pair of cowgirl boots and a flannel shirt. I had to stop what I was doing so I could "ooo and ahhhh" over them!

I found these perfect cowgirl boots. Along with the Western trend, the huge trend of animal print patterns are still extremely popular. These boots are great because they combine these two hot trends. These boots are also perfect because they can match a brown outfit or a black outfit! You can really dig into your cowgirl roots in these boots, even if you didn't know you had any country roots!

It's Time To Get On Board With The Western Trend

"These boots are made for walkin', and that's just what they'll do. One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you". I am a little cheesy at times, yes. And for that I apologize. But when I get excited about a fashion trend I go all the way! Even if it means a little song and dance.

This song was sang by Jessica Simpson in the movie "Dukes of Hazzard." She really pulled of the Western fashion trend in the movie, and oh my did she ROCK it. She looks great as Daisy Duke and became a bit of a fashion icon from that movie.

I am wanting to get on board with this trend. It is a fashion trend that I feel with stick around for quite some time (it already has--that movie was released HOW many years ago?). I'm sharing these super cute cowgirl boots with anybody else who is looking for some trendy boots. They are caramel colored and have a distressed look to them. These really can go with any outfit. You can rock them with skinny jeans, shorts (Daisy Duke's, haha), a cute sundress, or a skirt. You can justify buying new shoes when they literally go with ANYTHING. :)
