Pretty Preppy Fall Outfit

I am LOVING the change of weather and seasons that is going on. Fall is my all-time favorite season of the year and there is NOTHING about Fall that I don't like! I love the change in clothing, activities, and colors. With Fall comes putting away flip flops and shorts and taking out leggings, boots, and sweaters. It's also time to bring out the crock pot and put away the grill in the garage until Spring. 

I feel like Western boots are making a huge mark in the fashion happenings of Fall 2012. I have a couple of pairs of Western boots and I love them! I was thinking the other day...what if you aren't into that look? So many fashion websites and magazines are showing the Western look. What if that's not your style? I found this pretty preppy Fall look and thought I would share! Pair a blazer with a warm scarf. To keep your hair out of the way, a high bun is easy to do in your hair and looks very chic. 

Riding Boots Are The Best Boots for Fall

As most of you know, DSW is my favorite shoe store! I feel like I can find something there for whatever occasion and I find it easy to stay in my allotted shoe budget. Since I am SUCH a shoe freak, I have to make a budget or my closet would be even more full and my wallet would be even more empty!

Right now, as Fall is fast approaching and Summer will be ending sooner than we think, I am checking out some fall footwear. I am really loving riding boots. You don't need to have a horse or live on a farm to rock these bad boys! Riding boots are fashionable and are a huge fall trend. They are the perfect heel height. Riding boots looks fantastic over skinny jeans, under bootcut jeans, over leggings and with western-inspired dresses (think flowy with light colors and floral print).

I can't wait to order these and add them to my collection! :) 

Blazers

A blazer is the perfect clothing item to wear over some summer shirts/tank tops to "winterize" them so you are able to get more use and wear out of some of your favorite items of clothing. I like the color of this one because it's different, but you can go any color to make it work. I have a black one that I wear constantly! I like to pair a trendy look like this with a pair of high heeled boots and some cute hoop earrings. It creates the perfect fall/winter look.

Fall fashion = riding boots! These cute and comfy boots add great style and great comfort to any style. The great thing about these boots is that they will go with anything! I have a pair myself and I wear them anywhere. I recently saw them in a "Fall Boot Guide" on MTV. Check out them out!
