Western-Inspired Look

I love the Western-inspired look. It's a very "in" look right now and is easy to do. This particular look is inspired by the colors purple and turquoise.

You can create a Western look with a flowery, light sundress and cowgirl boots. They have a great selection of sundresses from Forever 21 that are inexpensive. The cowgirl boots can be found online as well. You can go for a colored boot like the ones in the picture or you can get neural colored boots that match all different kinds of outfits. Either way you go, it'll look great!

Accessories can be found all over the place. Go for big jewels with a lot of details.

Wedding Season Is Here!

Judging by the amount of "save the dates" and wedding invitations hanging on our refrigerator, I'd say wedding season is officially here! I can't wait. It's fun to go to weddings and celebrate the joining of two hearts with all of your friends and family. There's great food, fantastic company, lots of dancing and good drinks.

I'm sure ready for all these weddings but I'm not sure my closet is. I like to wear dresses to weddings. For more casual weddings I'll wear a sundress and wedges and for a more formal wedding I'll wear a dress much like the one pictured with some cute heels. You will never catch me in jeans at a wedding (don't get me started...).

I found this great dress that I will be wearing to an August wedding. It's a gorgeous cocoa color and looks great on any body type. It's fun but covers enough so it's modest to feel comfortable in. Since the dress is one color, you can pick a different color to use for shoes and accessories. Some great colors that go well with cocoa include turquoise and coral. There are many more out there, so the opportunities are endless!

Floral Dress

I love stocking my closet up with dresses for summer. It's my go-to summer outfit that I love wearing from May to August. Not the same one of course... which is why I stock up my closet every Spring to prepare! I love finding great deals on clothes. Because I like to seriously stock up, I can't afford to be spending $200 on each sundress I buy (although I occasionally like to splurge).

Forever 21 has a fantastic selection of inexpensive sundresses. The one pictured above is only $17.80! With every dress costing only that much, I can really fill up my closet fast!

They also have great accessories for prices that are just as great. There's several different types of shoes that look great with sundresses, and they have them available. They have flats, heels, wedges, sandals and more. To complete your outfit, they have belts, jewelry, bags, wallets, and hats.

Polka Dot Dress

The trend of polka dots isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It's a fun trend that can be worn as a piece of clothing or as an accessory (such as a purse or shoe).

I found this super cute dress that's covered in polka dots! It's a fun dress that can be worn in the warm weather of summer. Since I love the nautical theme I would pair this with a light brown fedora, and accessorize with red heels and a red purse. Of course I would have sunglasses on as well :) Not red shades though.. that would be too much.

I can't wait to order this in and start sporting it as the weather heats up!
