Accessorize!

If you're on a budget this Spring and Summer, or just looking to spice up some old outfits, accessorizing is the answer! You can make (and unfortunately, sometimes break) and outfit with accessories. You can make an old outfit look brand new by adding and changing different accessories.

I love loading up on fun and unique accessories and much as possible. I like to use necklaces, shoes, purses, sunglasses, bracelets, rings, nail polish, scarves, earrings, headbands, and hats to compliment my favorite outfits (of course not all at the same time...I would look like a clown!!!!). I like to save money when doing so, as I'm sure you all know by now.

One of my favorite stores to get accessories at is Target. They have a great selection and variety of both traditional and unique accessories. They also have a lot of sales. I also like to hit up Charlotte Russe. They have a huge supply of accessories when I go in there and always great deals (most of the time it's a 2-for deal).

Just remember, don't over do it and drown yourself in too many accessories...that is how you "break" and great outfit. Hint--brightly colored accessories are a great way to put some "Spring" into your wardrobe!

Turquoise Studded Tote

Hello from Mexico! The plane ride went smoothly (thank goodness) and we are all checked into the resort. I am so excited to be here!

I'm inspired by the gorgeous blue color of the ocean, and all of the tropical colors I'm seeing everywhere. I had to share this great purse I found and will be buying to remind me of this amazing trip!

It's a turquoise studded tote and it's only $34.90! What a great deal! This tote would look great with so many colors and is perfect for the color blocking style that's very popular right now. It's pretty big too, so there's plenty of room for all of your things!

Purses & Handbags

Spring is just around the corner (if you can even call this current season "winter", it's been pretty nice out!) None the less, I can't wait! When most people think of spring, they think of grilling, planting flowers & gardens, spring cleaning, spring vacations, and so much more. I think of purses and shoes. Is that pathetic? Maybe a little. But change of season means change of fashion, which means bright and fun new things will be replacing the deep colors of winter in my closet and it will be time to start fresh!

I love spring purses. They're so fun and flirty. I tend to look for shades of pink and purple to brighten up my day and match the beautiful colors of spring. Handbag Heaven is one of my favorite websites to go purse shopping on. Since it's not clothes, you don't have to be in the store to "try it on" and it makes it easier to go shopping from your own living room couch! They carry every style and color of purse imaginable for GREAT prices. There aren't many handbags over $65 which makes my wallet very happy.
