DIY Dry Shampoo

Nothing makes my day worse than having a bad hair day. I feel like a complete slob walking around with bad hair. It sadly reflects on my attitude and I tend to just feel that nothing can go right!
Some days when I wake up late and I need a quick fix, I turn to dry shampoo. I use it a lot because I sleep in a lot! I found a fantastic recipe on Pinterest that has a quick and easy recipe for making my own dry shampoo. For those of you that don't know, dry shampoo is a shampoo that gets sprayed on your dry hair and doesn't need to be rinsed out. I usually spray it on my roots and then brush it through my hair to evenly distribute it. Grease usually hangs out in the roots of your hair and makes it impossible to style!
This make it yourself dry shampoo is easy to make and I love it because I know exactly what's in it! Combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 4 tablespoons of water, and 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and shake it to mix the contents. Enjoy! A Hair Color That's Perfect For Fall

Now that Fall is fast approaching, you'll start to see more and more summer clothes leave the stores and more fall fashions will be popping up. There are a lot of great things in store for the fashion world this fall! A new trend that I recently discusses involves wearing white. That's right..after Labor day! What do you think of this unique trend?

You'll also see a lot more blonde disappear for people's hair color. Ladies tend to match their hair color with the seasons to keep it as low maintenance as possible. Since blonde is easy to maintain in the summer with the sun and warm weather, people tend to go lighter in the summer. Now that fall is almost here, darker colors will be appearing everywhere. I personally love this dark chestnut brown color. It's a very soft brown that isn't too intense. It looks great with almost any skin tone! If this is too dramatic for you, try adding some brown colored low-lights to your current color to break things up and get on board with this fantastic trend!

I'm taking today to share with my readers some of the fall fashion trends of 2012. You can take these great ideas from the runways right to your closet!

First off, an elegant look is now super trendy. This would include velvet materials, black and gold colors, ornate details, embellishments, etc. It's a very luxe and grandeur look. I love it!

PINK! Pink is the new, well, pink. Shades of pink will be popping up in stores everywhere from light tones to dark, deep shades...you can't go wrong with pink this season!

White is right. Maybe the biggest color trend of fall will be no color at all! Any shade from eggshell to a bright white can be used for this hot trend. Add a little bit of silver if you're hesitant to go all white!

A Sexy, Fun Smokey Eye

I'm always looking for fun ways to do my make-up. When the seasons change, I like to add fun new ways to do my make-up. This upcoming season, peacock pattern is a huge trend. Prom is such a fun event! During high school, it was always my favorite part of the year. I looked forward to prom more than any other event. I know that I've been talking a lot about the upcoming Fall Fashion trends because Fall is fast approaching, but that doesn't mean that there isn't time for a few fun summer events! The weather will stay nice for awhile longer, and that's why I've decided to order this adorable bow-top red and white striped bikini.

We have decided to go camping in a few weekends before school starts again and everybody gets into the swing of a routine for the year. We want to go out and have some fun doing some of our favorite things of summer.

I am so excited to go tubing down the river, grill out, play yard games, and have a blast with our friends and family.
