A Homecoming Dress To Shine In

As I walked through the mall today, I couldn't help but get into "back-to-school" mode. I walked by tons of stores and they all had their summer merchandise on the clearance racks while more and more fall fashions popped up to replace them. Stores like Target and Office Max have their notebooks, pens, pencils, and school supplies ready to be bought!

My favorite part of going back to school when I was in high school was homecoming. It was always such a blast! There was a fun-filled week with games, a parade, coronation and crowning of the "king" and "queen", volleyball games, tennis matches, competitions, pep rallys and of course the Friday night football game followed by the homecoming dance!

I found this dress online today and I instantly thought that it would make a perfect homecoming dress! I love the color and detail of the dress. It is formal yet fun which is what I usually look for in a dress.

Riding Boots Are The Best Boots for Fall

As most of you know, DSW is my favorite shoe store! I feel like I can find something there for whatever occasion and I find it easy to stay in my allotted shoe budget. Since I am SUCH a shoe freak, I have to make a budget or my closet would be even more full and my wallet would be even more empty!

Right now, as Fall is fast approaching and Summer will be ending sooner than we think, I am checking out some fall footwear. I am really loving riding boots. You don't need to have a horse or live on a farm to rock these bad boys! Riding boots are fashionable and are a huge fall trend. They are the perfect heel height. Riding boots looks fantastic over skinny jeans, under bootcut jeans, over leggings and with western-inspired dresses (think flowy with light colors and floral print).

I can't wait to order these and add them to my collection! :)

I'm always looking for fun and fresh clothes to spice up my wardrobe! I feel like dresses can be worn to  casual events or formal events. It all depends on the accessories worn with it. It can be worn with black pumps, smokey eye make-up, and a black sequined clutch for a formal night out event.

Nude Colored Leggings Are a Fashion DON'T!

Let me start by saying that I love leggings. I own some various-colored leggings because they go great in the chilly fall weather with a sweater or cute top. I have three or four pairs of black leggings, a pair of grey ones, and even a bright pink pair for when I'm feeling a bit crazy. They are one of the best fashion trends ever and I hope leggings never die out.

Let me also say that this woman is not naked. She is actually wearing NUDE-colored leggings. This is a huge fashion DON'T. Please, I BEG you, don't ever buy leggings that match your skin tone. You will look naked and funny, and may even appear on somebody's blog someday as an example of what NOT to wear!

Nude colored accessories are huge right now, such as nude-colored heels, nude nail polish, and even nude-colored purses. If you're wanting something to be nude-colored, pick something like your nail polish or shoes, but PLEASE not leggings!

Titanium Necklaces are Hot Right Now!

Women can sometimes be hard to shop for. I have been told several times that I am hard to shop for when it comes to holidays and my birthday! I laughed when I heard this because I feel like I am always wanting new things, especially when it comes to jewelry. For example, I am practically drooling over this beautiful heart-shaped titanium necklace! 

Right now, necklaces are very popular. They always have been. A necklace is something that can be worn with any outfit and makes for a great gift. The reason why I would love a titanium necklace over any other jewelry material is because titanium is very durable yet lightweight. I don't want a necklace that weighs my neck down and is uncomfortable. I also don't want a necklace that can break easily, either. That's why I love the proporties of titanium! It has all the great characteristics I am looking for in jewelry.
