Fashion and Football

Ok, so there are all kinds of fashion... It always depends on the person looking at it. So I have a question for you... Is it always necessary to be fashionable and if it is, is the fashion different if you were attending say a football game.
If I was going to an NFL game is it ok for me (fashionably speaking) to be wearing one of the NFL jerseys. Or do I still need to be dressed like I normally would? Feedback is appreciated! Thanks.
